IHG Hotels & Resorts Launches Vignette Collection Brand in Vietnam with Moire Hoi An Resort

IHG Hotels & Resorts has expanded its Vignette Collection brand to Vietnam by adding Moire Hoi An. Located on the Hoai River, the 128-room resort overlooks the UNESCO World Heritage site of Hoi An’s ancient town.

According to Philip Beriman, General Manager at Moire Hoi An, the resort aims to provide a unique combination of cultural and luxury experiences all year round. The hotel’s design reflects the history and culture of Vietnam, with intricate details and artwork throughout the property.

The Vignette Collection brand aims to offer authentic travel experiences, with each property having unique features that connect guests with the local culture and environment. At Moire Hoi An, guests can learn about the history and flavors of Vietnamese coffee through a daily program at The Yellow Bicycle, one of the resort’s restaurants. The hotel is also developing a visual and audio guide to the town in collaboration with local artists, which will be added to the guest experience in 2025.

As part of the Vignette Collection’s ‘Means For Good’ initiative, Moire Hoi An has partnered with a local primary school to support art education and cultural preservation. Guests can contribute by buying supplies, with proceeds for art competitions and student classes.

The resort offers three dining options: a modern Vietnamese deli and an American backyard barbeque-inspired restaurant. The Breathe Spa provides a mix of Eastern and Western therapies, and an infinity pool overlooks the Hoai River.

Currently, 19 Vignette Collection hotels operate worldwide, with 34 more in the pipeline, set to debut in markets such as Japan and the Maldives. Room rates at Moire Hoi An start from USD240 per night, including breakfast and a three-course dinner or buffet at the resort’s restaurant.

Moire Hoi An guests can also join the IHG One Rewards loyalty program, which offers a range of benefits and is accessible via its mobile app.
