Holiday Inn Express Hotels has partnered with Melbourne-based craft brewery, Local Brewing Co., on a craft beer for a charitable cause.
Guests at all Holiday Inn Express hotels throughout Australia can now enjoy a signature Express Pale Ale, exclusively labelled for the brand.
Each beer sold will help provide meals to those in need through food rescue organisation Second Bite.
The partnership between Holiday Inn Express Australia owner Pro-invest Group and Local Brewing Co. stemmed from a shared committed to environmental and social impact.
“Partnering with Local Brewing Co. aligns with our mission to provide guests with memorable experiences that celebrate the best of our region,” said Pro-invest Group Deputy Chair and CEO APAC, Jan Smits.
“We’re proud to support local suppliers, while contributing to the wider community and look forward to having our guests experience these quality beers.”
Since 2019, Local Brewing Co. has partnered with SecondBite so that for every pint brewed, a portion goes directly to SecondBite’s efforts, with more than 400,000 meals delivered to date.
“Crafting beer is about community, and through our partnership with Holiday Inn Express, we’re reaching even more people who are facing food insecurity,” said Local Brewing Co. Co-Founder, Claudia Mitchell.
